D. J. Honse Pedal Steel, Lead Guitar, Fiddle & Vocals
DJ was born and raised
in Greensburg, PA. He started playing music on stage at the
age of 13. He also plays Bass guitar, Dobro and Mandolin. He
opened up for such great talents as Merle Haggard, Tommy Cash, Billy
Walker, The Charlie Daniels Band, Joe Diffie, Johnny Counterfit and
Crockett Frizzell. He also had the opportunity to meet Hank Thompson
and two guitar giants, Les Paul and Bucky Pizzerelli. He currently
teaches guitar lessons at local music stores. D. J. has
performed on stage from Coast to Coast with many different bands.

Bobby Palmer Bass Guitar & Vocals Bobby also plays rhythm guitar and is a song writer having songs in Nashville with the Nashville Music Consultants Co. He received a standing ovation at the Cambria County War Memorial for performing one of his songs titled :"Her Wedding Day" when he opened up for Tracy Lawrence. He has also opened for other major Nashville stars including Confederate Railroad and Clinton Gregory. In his many years in the music business he has performed for many people from here to Nashville.

Brian Powell Lead Guitar & Vocals Brian, originally from Library, now lives in West Mifflin, PA. He's been playing the guitar for over 22 years. One of his noteable successes was opening up for recording artist, Chris Cagle, at Y-108's Freedom Fest in 2006. Brian has also done some studio and production work. He values his friends, Chris DeCarlo and John Parrendo, for their support and advice throughout the years.

Jeff Straight Drums & Vocals Jeff is the newest member of Broken Spoke. His musical journey started with playing the trombone with the school band at age 10. At 15 he was asked to play drums for a few friends. Since then he has not loved anything as much... except his wife and children. Originally from Fairmont, WV, he and his family moved to Greensburg, PA in 2008. In the past 2 years, he's played with local bands and met talented musicians. Jeff says, "I'm looking forward to a long run with a great group of guys."

Ed Grabb Sound Technician Ed, originally from Jeannette, now lives in Greensburg, PA. He's been around music for nearly 37 years, but who's counting? He started out playing the steel guitar and moved right into the six string. He's performed with several local bands including: Country Cavaliers, Sundown, Rawhide, Freightline and Shooters, just to name a few. For 6 years prior to joining Broken Spoke, along with performing, Ed also worked as a sound tech making the bands sound as sweet as possible.
