D. J. Honse Pedal Steel, Lead Guitar, Fiddle & Vocals
DJ was born and raised
in Greensburg, PA. He started playing music on stage at the
age of 13. He also plays Bass guitar, Dobro and Mandolin. He
opened up for such great talents as Merle Haggard, Tommy Cash, Billy
Walker, The Charlie Daniels Band, Joe Diffie, Johnny Counterfit and
Crockett Frizzell. He also had the opportunity to meet Hank Thompson
and two guitar giants, Les Paul and Bucky Pizzerelli. He currently
teaches guitar lessons at local music stores. D. J. has
performed on stage from Coast to Coast with many different bands.

Bobby Palmer Bass Guitar & Vocals Bobby also plays rhythm guitar and is a song writer having songs in Nashville with the Nashville Music Consultants Co. He received a standing ovation at the Cambria County War Memorial for performing one of his songs titled :"Her Wedding Day" when he opened up for Tracy Lawrence. He has also opened for other major Nashville stars including Confederate Railroad and Clinton Gregory. In his many years in the music business he has performed for many people from here to Nashville.

Keith Thayer Rhythm Guitar & Vocals Keith is a singer/songwriter/guitarist from Monongahela, PA. He's been performing country music all over the tri-state area for the past few years and is pretty wound up about working with BROKEN SPOKE. He says, "I am surrounded by so much talent in Broken Spoke, .............. it's just a great opportunity to play with performers of this caliber. We compliment each other so well and have such a good time together, I can hardly wait to share it with the audience."

Jay Harris Drums & Vocals Jay was born and raised in Latrobe, PA. He starting playing the drums at the age of 10, learning the basics from his father. He was on stage and playing in bands by the age of 13. Now, 29 years later, he has played for some of the most talented bands in the tri-county area. Jay has become one of the most versatile drummers and vocalists around.

Brian Powell Lead Guitar & Vocals Brian is originally from Library, PA and has been playing guitar for 20+ years. His most recent success was opening for Chris Cagle at Y-108's Freedom Fest in 2006. He values his close friends like Chris DeCarlo & John Parrendo for support and advice. He's also done some studio & production work as well. Brian is always eager to improve and is a welcome addition to the Broken Spoke line-up.

Lori Patterson Sound Technician Lori is from Mt. Pleasant, PA and a 2007 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she was very active in the campus radio station, WSRU FM. While in school, she held a variety of positions at WSRU FM, including general manager, and hosted a weekly two-hour radio show showcasing everything from obscure independent artists to popular country and rock. From a young age, Lori has been interested in music. She has also dabbled in concert promotion and helping local bands with PR. In her free time, she enjoys art, photography, and playing guitar. |
